As a general guide, for kitchen benches with a low/normal height ceiling we suggest 3x Small.
 
If its a high/cathedral ceiling over a kitchen bench, we suggest 3x Medium.
 
For entrances/stairwells of high ceilings, we suggest a grouping of 3 (1x of each size).
 
For heigh ceilings over a lounge/living/space, we suggest 1x Medium or 1x Large.
